Location of SASNET root node
at Lund University

Since November 2003, SASNET's root node office at Lund University is located within the premises of the Centre for East and South East Asian Studies, ACE, House Alfa 1 at Ideon Research Park, room 2042 (first floor) (see the map above).
Entrance: Scheelevägen 15 D (on the backside of the main Alfa building where the Ideon Restaurant is located)
Ideon Research Village is found in the northeastern part of Lund.

The office is manned by SASNET's director, Dr. Anna Lindberg, and webmaster/deputy director Lars Eklund. SASNET’s library of magazines is located in Lars Eklund’s room, open Monday-Friday 9–17.

The building has elevators, so SASNET’s root node office can easily be visited also by persons with functional disorders.

If you arrive by train to Lund, catch bus No. 6 from Clemenstorget (opposite the Railway station), in the direction of Linero (the end station is Ringhornegränden), and get off the bus at bus stop JOHN ERICSSONS VÄG. From there, cross the street and pass a few buildings belonging to Ideon Research Park, and pass the main Alfa building with the Ideon restaurant on your left side. SASNET is located in a buiding called ”Alfa 1” on your right side, SASNET’s office is entered through the Scheelevägen 15 D entrance.
If you arrive by flight to Malmö Airport (Sturup), take the Airport Bus for Lund. Get off the bus at the bus stop named LTH at Sölvegatan. From there turn left, pass the LTH main building (Kårhuset) on your left side, and walk for 5 minutes along John Ericssons väg, and cross the next road (Ole Römers väg). You now enter Ideon Research Park. Walk straight, and pass the main Alfa building with the Ideon restaurant on your left side. SASNET is located in a building called ”Alfa 1” on your right side, SASNET’s office is entered through the Scheelevägen 15 D entrance.
If coming from Malmö, you take the regional bus line 171 from Malmö bus station at Södervärn or at the bus stops Konserthuset and Värnhem. This bus stops just 200 metres north of our office, at the bus stop called OLE RÖMERS VÄG. From there walk south, passing the main Alfa building with its restaurant on your left side, before reaching the separate Alfa 1 building, and the entrance Scheelevägen 15 D.
